I was so excited to be a part of Ron and Kayloni's wedding day on October 12, 2013! I have had the pleasure of watching Ronny (sorry Ron....you will always be Ronny to me!) grow up from a little boy to a fine young man! He married a wonderful girl with a heart of gold! Their wedding ceremony was full with family and friends. We shot their formal photos at the Penn State Beaver campus. We did a lot of footbal shots, as Ron and his brothers all play(ed) football! The reception was a lot of fun, with a LOT of dancing! Ron and Kayloni I love you both and I am so happy for you! Thank you for letting us be such a special part of your wedding day!

Stacy and James ♥ {Washington, PA Wedding Photographer}

On October 5, 2013, we had the privilege of photographing James and Stacy's wedding. It was a small intimate wedding and love filled the air! The ceremony was beautiful! Washington PA is a really neat place for photographs. It was very historic and I loved shooting their photos there! We had to get ahead of the rain, be we got everything in before it hit! They had a lot of great ideas and were up for anything, which made it a lot of fun! I really enjoyed their reception as all ages were dancing! Cory and Tanya ♥ {Pittsburgh, PA Wedding Photographer}

On September 28, 2013, we had the privilege of photographing Tanya and Cory's wedding. We were very happy to have another beautiful day! I met Tanya and the girls at their hotel, while Ed met Cory and the guys at his parent's home. We met up at the beautiful St. Albert The Great Church for their wedding ceremony. We then continued on to Grandview Park in the trolley to take advantage of some spectacular overlook views of the city! We had a lot of fun with Tanya and Cory and their wedding party there! Then it was on to the Wendel Inn for their reception. It was very beautiful and we loved their ice sculpture!  Cory and Tanya, we wish you the best in your lives together and many, many years of love! Courtney and Sam ♥ {New Castle, PA Wedding Photographer}

On September 7, 2013, we had the privilege of photographing Courtney and Sam's wedding. It was a picture perfect day! It was a beautiful ceremony and the church was filled with their family and friends. We took their formal portraits at McConnell's Mill State Park and we got some really beautiful shots there. The wedding party was a blast and we had so much fun with them there! We had to get a park ranger to help them out of the park due to the party bus being too tall! Thankfully he was very nice about it, and got them out safe and sound:)  The most memorable moment of their wedding day, for me, was when Sam and Courtney cut their cake. They had their Best Man and Maid Of Honor stand with them. When it was time for them to feed each other the cake (and let's face it.....most couples choose to smash the cake in each others faces!) they started towards each other, then ended up smashing the cake in their Best Man's and Maid Of Honor's faces! They were surprised to say the least, but it was a lot of fun! Sam and Courtney, we wish you the best in your lives together and many, many years of love! Allison and Josh ~ E-Session ♥ {Thiel College Engagement and Wedding Photographer}

Meet Josh and Allison! We met at a cafe in Beaver last June, and they booked with me later that week! I couldn't wait for this session after they told me what they wanted! It was a nasty rainy weekend, but it cleared up just enough for us to get this session in:) We had the session at Theil College, which they attended together. On May 18, 2013, we had the privilege of photographing Paul and Lauryn's wedding. It was such a gorgeous day and what a location! It took place at the Mansion at Maple Heights in Pittsburgh, PA. I cannot begin to tell you how much fun we had! The most memorable moment of their wedding day, for me, was when the DJ played "The Proclaimers-I'm Gonna Be (500 miles) and the whole wedding party was stomping, clapping and dancing together in a circle. You had to be there, but it was absolutely amazing! Paul and Lauryn, we wish you the best of life and many, many years of love! Thank you for letting us be such a big part of your day!

Meet Courtney and Sam! We met on a warm but windy day last month to do their engagement session. What a fun day! They are a great couple and are so easy to get along with! I felt like I was taking pictures of old friends:) Here are some of their engagement photos. It was so hard to pick which ones to share as they did such an amazing job! I can't wait for the wedding!!!

Favorites!

January through March is the slow season for me. I am happy that that is about to change! I just wanted to share some of my favorite photos with you from last year! I can't wait to get started this year!

 This photo was part of the sweet little girl's 1st Birthday Photos. One of the photos from this session has made it's way around the world! She is one famous baby!

I met Abbey a few years ago when I shot her brother's senior portraits. I was honored to shoot her's. She was a bit nervous to be in front of the camera, but she became comfortable quickly and we got some awesome shots!

 This is Emily. She moved away from this area last year and traveled four hours for me to do her senior portraits! To say the least, I was so excited! Emily was a natural in front of the camera, and we captured some beautiful shots!

 This is a little frog that was almost stepped on on a senior portrait session! How cute!

 These next three photos are from the year before last, but we just love them!

 This photo is hilarious! I captured this photo as my assistant's flash fell off of his camera and into the stream below. Not so good for the flash, but sure made for a funny photo!

The next two photos are from a maternity session. It was a snowy Thursday evening and we contemplated cancelling due to the weather. Thankfully we didn't, as 4 days later she gave birth to their twins!

 The next two photos are from my only Op-Love session last year. It meant so much for me to be able to do these photos for her and her family, not only because she is giving up so much for us, but also because she is a friend of mine from elementary school! She served over 6 months and I am happy to report that she is now safely back home with her family!

 

This was a photo taken in July on a short trip last summer. My daughter participated in the Miss Teen Pennsylvania pageant and we got to visit some pretty neat places, including Gettysburg!

 This is Randi! We met quickly one Friday afternoon to snap a couple of senior portraits of her in her tennis uniform. We get to finish her session this spring! I can't wait!

This next photo is from 2011, but we love it so we wanted to share it with you anyway! We look forward to doing some photos with them this spring!

This is Alena. She and I got along so well and were able to get some great photos! This one features what her family calls the "balancing rock". It is very neat and the location was just beautiful!

This is Brittany! She was a daredevil and was up for anything!! Boy did we have fun during her session! I am looking forward to doing her family's portraits this spring!

This is Colton! In the first photo, we were taking some photos on the football field and I saw the sun shining through the clouds. I told him to just stand there with his arms crossed, and I continued  to compose this shot.....laying on the ground! He probably thought I was crazy, as I was so excited about this one! It turned out to be one of my favorites from his session!

This one is a memorable one for me, as after this game, the soccer team was cut, leaving no soccer in the EC school district. I have worked with them since I started my business and I will miss them all! They were a fun group of kids! This is their senior night silly photo.

 This is Abbey! I have known her for a long time so I was honored to do her Senior portraits! Abbey is so much fun to be around, and she didn't disappoint! I hear from my senior portrait clients that their cheeks hurt from smiling so much. I was the one who went home with sore cheeks that night!

 This is Topher! Right after the shot below, he donated his hair! Below are the before and after pictures:)

This is Gretta! This was one of my more memorable sessions as we traveled around her chosen location by a golf cart! We had a lot of fun and got some really great shots!

This is Hannah! I absolutely LOVED this session as it was in one of my favorite places to be.....Tennessee! Hannah is the niece of a good friend we met while vacationing in Tennessee. I was so excited to do her portraits, as I've always thought that it would be an awesome location for any session! Shortly after the first photo was taken, someone driving by said "Oh look what a pretty bride!" We had a good laugh over that and had so much fun the rest of the time! I hope to do her brother's portraits there too!

 

This  is a bear that my husband captured while on that same trip!
